Steel Production
Rolling Mill
The centerpiece of our production is a 22-stand fully continuous rolling mill. Here, the preliminary material, known as billets, is heated to over 1,200°C in a walking beam furnace in various grades and rolled into round dimensions ranging from Ø12 mm to Ø75 mm. Part of the material undergoes adjustment of its mechanical properties in the rolling mill via water quenching. After cooling on the rake cooling bed and cutting to length, the material is transferred to one of the 10 finishing lines for further processing.

Steel Bar Finishing Lines
Our steel bars, in dimensions ranging from Ø12 mm to Ø40 mm, are annealed, straightened, sawn, shot-blasted, chamfered, and inspected for internal and surface defects in the steel bar finishing lines. Some bar material is further through peeling, straight polishing, and grinding. These processes are followed by surface inspection and ultrasonic testing. Additional in-depth production steps include sawing with end machining or turning and gearing.
SAS Thread Bars
Our SAS thread bars, featuring a continuous screwable coarse thread in dimensions from Ø12 mm to Ø75 mm, are either directly cut to size and prepared for shipment or subject to additional treatment steps. One such treatment step for specific grades involves stretching followed by heat treatment to achieve specific strength values. The screwability of the thread bars is continuously monitored.

Complete System Solutions
Some materials undergo additional in-house processing steps such as bending, threading, and other assembly procedures, enabling us to offer customers complete system solutions.
The required accessories are also produced in-house on various drilling machines, whirling benches, or CNC lathes.
