Application:

During the flood, the dam is closed, and the Couesnon River is impounded. The water pressures that arise are absorbed by the new dam gates. To achieve this, the gates of the dam are prestressed with two sets of six SAS 835/1035 Ø 75 mm prestressing tendons against the dam piers. The SAS prestressing tendons were prestressed to a load of 2,250 kN.
