SAS threaded rods are used as rock nails for the tunnel portal and as rock anchors for the inner tunnel lining. The accessories and SAS threaded rods for the tunnel portal are hot-dip galvanized.The tunnel consists of two tubes with lengths of 1.250 km and 1.275 km. During installation, the rock anchors are tensioned with a force of 50 kN. The bonded length of the fast-curing adhesive cartridges is 3 m.
